Programme Overview

The Mutawwif Umrah and Ziarah Management Program aims to enhance the efficiency of mutawwifs in managing Umrah pilgrimages systematically and professionally. This training ensures that mutawwifs acquire high-level skills to assist pilgrims in performing their religious duties smoothly and perfectly.

The Umrah industry falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia (KPK), where Umrah package operators must be licensed under the Tourism Industry Act 1992 [Act 482]. Meanwhile, Tabung Haji is solely responsible for Hajj affairs as stipulated in the Tabung Haji Act 1995 [Act 535].

Entry Requirements

Muslim
Aged between 17-35 years old
Malaysia citizen
Physically and Mentally Healthy
Proficient in the 3Rs (Reading, wRiting & aRithmetic)
Able to speak and write basic Arabic and English
Interested in the programme
SPM / STPM Qualifications NOT required.
